Ingredients

  • 1 bag (13.25 oz) whole wheat penne pasta
  • 1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel sweet corn
  • 1 can (15 oz) sweet peas
  • 1 bag (8 oz) grated cheese
  • 1 jar (25.5 oz) of tomato sauce (I use the roasted tomato sauce)

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • 2
    Cook the pasta as per their instructions.
  • 3
    Strain the corn and peas.
  • 4
    Mix the strained pasta with the tomato sauce, peas and corn in a bowl. Salt and pepper to taste.

    Place half of the pasta in a baking dish and sprinkle with a layer of cheese. Add the other half and cover in cheese.

    Bake until it bubbles softly and the cheese has browned, about 20 minutes.

    Serve hot.
