Among the most popular cocktails in Los Angeles, a place with so much Mexican influence that celebrates cultural diversity, is the Margarita. To take advantage of the plethora of Mexican restaurants in L.A., I make it a point to sample and try different Mexican dishes and drinks each time I go out. Fortunately, I’ve found some marvelous places that have hit the spot and I've even learned how to prepare many of these meals. Without a doubt, one of the basic cocktails that my Mexican friends have taught me to prepare is the "classic" margarita. It's a refreshing drink that's served in all kinds of celebrations. Below is my favorite of all the cocktail recipes I've learned over time, shared by one of my barman friends. Enjoy!
