Fruit and Yogurt Smoothie

Sometimes we wake up in the morning and just don't want to eat anything solid or maybe we don't have the time to eat a balanced meal. It happens to me often and since I know that I should never skip that meal, I like to prepare refreshing fruit smoothies. Sometimes I add spinach, oatmeal or peanut butter. My secret is that I cut up the fruits and refrigerate them in portions in plastic bags. It's easier to have them at hand when I'm in a rush, sometimes I don't even need to add ice!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, frozen and cut into cubes
  • 1 (5.3 oz) Yoplait® Greek 100 protein pineapple yogurt
  • 1 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon of Chia, optional

Directions

    Pour the coconut milk, pineapple and the rest of the ingredients into a blender.

    Cover and mix until soft and creamy.

    You can use bananas or halved strawberries instead of the blueberries.

    I used pineapple yogurt, but you can also use coconut or natural flavored.
