During the summer months, not only do the temperatures rise, but we also have a number of events to attend. Pot lucks are popular, and it’s great to have new recipes on hand. I prefer packing fresh dishes that don’t require long periods of refrigeration and that are easy to serve. One of my favorites, which my kids also love, is this fruit kebob idea. Colorful, natural portions of fruit that can be adapted to all tastes and diets, these kebobs are refreshing in the heat of the summer. Be inspired and try them today!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 package Yoplait® plain yogurt, your favorite flavor

Directions

  • 1
    Wash and dry the fruit on a paper towel.
  • 2
    Run a blueberry, a strawberry and another blueberry through the skewer.
  • 3
    Prepare remaining kebabs to mix the other fruits; blueberries, raspberries and grapes.

    Serve on tray, paired with yogurt dipping sauce.

    To give the kebabs extra special flavor, coat with yogurt and refrigerate for a day. Serve chilled.
