Monster Cereal Treats Drizzled with Chocolate and Sprinkles

It’s not officially Halloween until the beloved General Mills Monster Cereals™ hit the supermarket shelves. Grownups and kids love them! Count Chocula™, Franken Berry™ and Boo Berry™ have been a part of the Halloween season since 1971. Today we use this famous cereal to spruce up crispy treats!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups marshmallows
  • 6 cups Count Chocula™ cereal
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles, to taste

Directions

    In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter and marshmallows, stirring often until all marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat.

    Add Count Chocula™ cereal and mix well. Generously spray a 9x13 pan and press marshmallow cereal mixture into pan. Allow to cool.

    Place chocolate chips in small bowl, melt in microwave. Place melted chocolate in plastic sandwich bag, cut small hole in the corner of bag to create a piping bag. Drizzle entire cereal treats with chocolate and top with sprinkles.

    Cut into squares and serve.
