Add these panko breaded pork chops to your table. Usually, my family only makes pork when we have special family celebrations, and these pork chops look so good and are so delicious that they’re now one of our favorite dishes. Panko is a breadcrumb that is a bit bigger than the traditional one, so it gives you a super crunchy crust. Panko also tastes great with herbs and other seasonings, like the ones we use in this recipe. I hope you like it.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4-5 fresh parsley sprigs
  • 1 cup panko
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup oil

Directions

    Put the pork chops in a big and deep container. Pour the milk over the pork chops.

    Finely chop the parsley and mix with panko, salt and pepper to taste.

    Cover the pork chops with the panko mixture.

    Heat the oil in a non-stick pan at medium-high temperature. Fry the chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they’re fully cooked.

    Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

  • tip 1
    If you don’t have parsley, you can use cilantro or basil.
  • tip 2
    If you want juicier pork chops, cover them with the milk and let them rest for a couple of hours in the fridge before doing the breading.
