Pumpkin, Cinnamon and Caramel Monkey Bread

It's hard to believe, but Christmas is almost here and with it holiday parties, the decorations I love so much, and the tree we set up in our living room. I love decorating the tree with my husband, daughters, and our granddaughter. I always prepare some snack to get everyone into the holiday spirit. Using Pillsbury™ products, such as Pillsbury™ Grands!™, it really is easy to make delicious breads and sand-wiches for our families, and today I want to prepare for you a crowd-pleasing favorite: monkey bread. The original monkey bread recipe is a product of the 70s and has been traced back to California. In-spired by a sweet, Hungarian breakfast bread, its name makes reference to the pieces of dough that to-gether form the loaf, a puzzle-like bread resembling a barrel of monkeys.

Ingredients

  • 3 cans (17.5 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Pumpkin Spice Rolls with Pumpkin Spice Icing (5 Count)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup caramel pieces or chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar

    Preheat the oven to 375 °F.

    Cut the Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Pumpkin Spice Rolls with Pumpkin Spice Icing into fourths and sprinkle with sugar.

    Grease a Bundt pan and add 1 layer of the sugar-coated Pillsbury™ Grands!™, enough to cover the bottom. Sprinkle some of the caramel pieces and walnuts over the bread, and repeat this layering process until the entire pan is full.

    Combine the melted butter and the brown sugar and stir together. Sprinkle this butter-sugar mix over the top of the bread and bake for 45-50 minutes.

    Once fully baked, remove from the oven, let cool slightly and serve warm with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee. This bread makes an excellent addition to your brunch, snack or breakfast spread.
