I love preparing traditional apple pie for American celebrations like Memorial day, Flag Day or the 4th of July. But I also really enjoy surprising my guests and this is why I’ve decided to prepare a cocktail inspired by traditional leftover pie. Ingredients

  • 2 apples, diced
  • 2 cups of very cold apple juice
  • 1 cups of very cold moscato wine or 1/2 cup of vanilla vodka
  • 4 tablespoons of caramel
  • 4 tablespoons of vanilla ice cream
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 apple, sliced to decorate

Directions

    Keep the wine and juice refrigerated before serving so the drink is cold.

    Paint the walls of the martini glasses with caramel, add 2 teaspoons of diced apples, 1/2 cup of cold apple juice, 1/3 cup of cold moscato or 1/4 cup of vanilla vodka.

    Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla ice cream, add a bit more caramel and decorate with a stick of cin-namon or sliced apple.

    Serve immediately.
