Have you ever had banana pudding with vanilla wafers? Well, think of this recipe as its cool, rebel cousin! I learned how to make banana pudding in my home economics class in the 7th grade. It's a fun, quick and tasty dessert that never disappoints. A few years ago, I started making it with rice pudding for parties as one of my go-to dishes. Also, to add my own twist to it, I started putting this quick dessert in shot glasses as a festive dessert to give out. People love it because they feel they're having a drink, but they're actually enjoying a tasty dessert!

Ingredients

  • 10 vanilla wafers
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 1/4 cup rice pudding

Directions

  •
    1
Place all your shot glasses on a tray.
  •
    2
Place the vanilla wafers in a ziplock bag and smash them with a mug to turn them into crumbs. Snip off one corner of the bag with a pair of scissors and evenly pour 1/4 inch of crumbs into the bottom of each shot glass. Set aside.
  •
    3
Slice up the bananas into 1/4-inch slices. Add two banana slices on top of the crumbs in each shot glass.
  •
    4
Top the bananas in each cup with one tablespoon of rice pudding.
  •
    5
Add 2 more banana slices to the top of the rice pudding.
  •
    6
Add another tablespoon of rice pudding.
  •
    7
Top all shot glasses with vanilla wafer crumbs. Enjoy!
