With summer approaching, we started improving our eating habits to get us ready for swimsuit season. We’ve added more fruits and veggies to our meals and started a daily exercise routine. I walk my son to school everyday and start my mornings off with a fruit and veggie smoothie. But there's one treat I just can't remove from my life: s'mores! So I've decided to create a more nutritional version by adding berries to it!

Ingredients

  • 8 graham crackers
  • 32 large marshmallows, cut in half
  • 2 1.5-oz milk chocolate bars, broken in 12 pieces
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Directions

    Preheat broiler.
  • 2
    Break crackers in half to form squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Place 4 marshmallow halves on each graham cracker square. Place in broiler for 1 minute until all marshmallows begin to char. Remove from broiler.

    Immediately and carefully, place chocolate on top of hot marshmallow and a few berries. Top with other graham cracker square and half press down to meld and seal ingredients together.
