Apple crisp, an all-time favorite dessert, has a crunchy topping of oats and cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium (6 cups) apples, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 3/4 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread
  • Whipped cream, if desired
  • Ground cinnamon, if desired

Directions

    Heat oven to 375°F. Place apples into ungreased 2-quart square baking dish.
  • 2
    Combine oats, brown sugar and flour in medium bowl; mix in Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle sugar mixture over apples. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.

    Serve warm. Dollop with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
