Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 4 cups Gold Medal™ flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter at room temperature
  • 1 whipped egg
  • 1 cup hot milk
  • 2 cups instant yeast

For the filling:

  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

For the frosting:

  • 1 box (7.2 oz) Betty Crocker™ Home Style Fluffy White Frosting Mix

Directions

  • 1
Mix the eggs, granulated sugar, butter, salt, flour, and yeast. Then add the rest of the ingredients for the dough and whip with the help of a mixer until everything is combined well.
  • 2
On a clean surface, sprinkle a bit of flour and lay out the dough, kneading thoroughly. Using a rolling pin, flatten out the dough on a floured surface until it’s thin like cloth.
  • 3
In separate container, prepare the filling by adding butter, cinnamon, sugar and mix well. Once the mixture is ready spread it over the dough with the help of a spatula. Roll up the dough and cut into 3-cm-wide pieces. Let sit for ten minutes until the dough rises. In the meantime, prepare the frosting according to the instructions.
  • 4
Pull the rolls onto a greased baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes at medium heat. Once they’re ready add a tablespoon of frosting to the top of each roll and let cool.
