The beautiful weather is here and we should definitely take advantage of it. Most weekends, my family and I make our way to the beach or park, or have a little picnic to take in some fresh air. I love packing delicious snacks for my son that are easy to carry, fuss-free and require little or no clean up. These snack cups are fun to eat and perfect for those afternoons in the park.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1, 7-oz jar marshmallow cream
  • 5 cups Lucky Charms™ cereal
  • 5 strawberries, chopped
  • 1 banana, peeled and chopped
  • 3/4 cup chocolate syrup

Directions

  • 1
In a medium saucepan, melt butter on low-medium heat. Add marshmallow cream and stir until well mixed. Add cereal and stir until evenly incorporated.
  • 2
In a greased or parchment-lined cupcake baking sheet, place about 3 tablespoons of mixture in each spot and mold into cups. Cool to room temperature or place in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  • 3
Once cool, fill each cup with fruit and top with chocolate syrup.

  • You can also place snack cups for a few minutes in the freezer to help them cool. You can use any fruit combo for the filling.
