Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. I've replaced a few ingredients with lighter options without giving up the delicious nature of the dish. Preparing low-calorie breakfasts like these eggs with turkey sausage is a great way to start your day!

Ingredients

  • 8 low-fat turkey sausages, cut into slices
  • 4 egg whites, whipped
  • 2 cooked potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 1/2 cup low fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Directions

    Place the turkey sausage and potatoes in a large and deep saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat until they start to brown. Strain and set aside.

    Mix the egg whites with salt, milk and cheese in a large bowl. Pour the mixture into the pan with the sausages. Stir well until the eggs have cooked.
