Surprise your friends and family with this refreshing drink. Its origins take us back to the times of the pirates that sailed the Caribbean. According to legend, the Puerto Rican pirate, Roberto Cofresi used a magical concoction of coconut, pineapple and rum to stupify and control his crew. The recipe was lost after his death. It wasn’t until 1954 that Ramón Marrero, the now famous barman, rediscovered this recipe naming it the Piña Colada. The rest, as they say, is history.
