A very easy chicken soup, reminiscent of the traditional chicken soup (caldo de pollo) made in Latin America!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (19 oz each) Progresso™ chicken noodle soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 2 cups shredded leftover cooked turkey*
  • Cilantro, white onion, lime wedges, serrano and avocado, if desired

Directions

    In 4-quart saucepan, heat soup over medium-high heat.
  • 2
    Stir in turkey, water and bouillon granules. Reduce heat to medium.
  • 3
    Simmer 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Serve with desired stir-ins.

    *If you don’t have leftover turkey, buy it from the deli or get a rotisserie chicken!

    Add 1 cup cooked white rice--why not?
