Prepare these tasty cereal bars with dried strawberries for breakfast or lunch for your kids. Surprise your kids by creating fun shapes with cookie cutters or simply cut them into rectangular bars. The best part is that preparing them at home means you can use products you like and if they’re organic, it's just that much better!

Ingredients

  • 4 cup of Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1 cup of dried strawberries or cranberries
  • 6 cups (40 pieces) large marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons of light agave
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (without salt)

Directions

    Prepare a 13x9-inch baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cooking spray.

    Melt the butter over low heat, and then add the marshmallows, the butter and the agave. Stir until they’re completely melted and remove from the heat.

    Mix the Cheerios®, strawberries, and chocolate marshmallow mixture. Pour the mixture into the baking sheet and flatten using your hands or with the help of a cutting board to apply pressure.

    Let cool for 10 minutes and cut in any way you like, you can even use a cookie cutter.
